DESCRIPTION:Leadership and Service.  These are the foundations of the Vigil Honor in the Order of the Arrow.  When you accepted the solemn obligation of the Vigil Honor your committed  yourself to a life of cheerful service and dedication to Scout camping.  The OA handbook describes the Vigil as “alertness to the needs of others as the mark of the Vigil Honor.” It calls for an individual with an unusual awareness of the possibilities within each situation.  On the eve of the 100th Anniversary of Owasippe Scout Camp\, we are pleased to announce the revival of the Owasippe Lodge Vigil Dinner.  It will be an exciting opportunity to renew old acquaintances and make new friends as we embark upon renewing our resources for Owasippe’s second century of character development of the youth of America.  We would ask that you save the date:\nOwasippe Lodge #7 – Vigil Dinner\nSaturday\, November 20\, 2010 \nEuropean Chalet Banquet Hall\n5445 S.
