DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Vigil Alumni Dinner Committee is pleased to announce our annual gathering: \nOwasippe #7 Vigil Alumni – Annual Dinner \nSaturday\, November 23\, 2019 \nThe Mayor’s Mansion\n(a.k.a. European Chalet Banquet Hall)\n5445 S. Harlem Avenue\nChicago\, Illinois \nCost: $40.00 per person (Vigil members and spouse/guest are invited) \nFellowship – 5:30-7:00 PM\nDinner – 7:00-8:00 PM\nProgram – 8:00-9:15 PM \nThis year we will honor two of our Vigil Brothers who have dedicated their lives to Scouting and the community\, living lives of cheerful service – Rev. F. Gerald Scanlan and Ronald J. Temple\, Ph.D.  The decades of service provided by these Brothers to the community and to Scouting have touched the lives of countless youth and adult members. \nWe hope you will be able to join us for this gala event. Registration letters will be sent via U.S. mail in mid September. \nThis year we would encourage you to make on-line payments for the dinner. Go to the drop down menu below and select the number of reservations you wish to make.  Please then list the names of all people for whom you are making a reservation\, along with any instructions regarding seating preferences. Then click the “Buy Now” button.  This will take you to the PayPal website and give you the option of either paying through your PayPal account or with a credit card.  Proceed to check out as you would with any other on-line vendor.  If this is all too complicated\, you are still welcome to fill out the form you received in the mail and send a check made payable to Francis J. Podbielski\, MD \nAs in the past\, proceeds from the event support the O/A Camper Scholarships for deserving youth members in the Chicago area and NOAC Scholarships to develop leadership skills in our youth officers.
