Welcome my Brother!

Hours spent in silent meditation are worth days and days of talking.  One does not seek the Vigil Honor, but instead it is the Vigil Honor that seeks out those whose fixity of purpose sets them apart from their peers.  It is not an Honor that is bestowed and then set upon a shelf to collect the dust of disuse.  As a Vigil Brother, your fellows know they can rely on you to be ever ready act as the standard-bearer of Scouting and clear the path ahead for those who have yet to pass.

A great opportunity exists for us to make a positive impact in the world as a coalition of those willing to sacrifice for the youth of tomorrow.
